MAKKA BAND’s concerts are a vibrant celebration of nostalgia, life, and timeless music. Their performances are crafted to deliver a wholesome, high-energy experience that resonates with every generation.

At the heart of MAKKA BAND are singers Ranjith Govind, Rahul Nambiar, and Aalaap Raju—three powerhouse performers with a combined repertoire of over 3,000 songs to their names. With thousands of concerts between  hem, they bring not only exceptional musical talent but also a dynamic stage presence fueled by years of friendship and shared passion. Their chemistry, camaraderie, and infectious energy create an unforgettable vibe that  connects instantly with audiences and elevates every performance.

ABOUT THE SINGERS:

RANJITH GOVIND:

Ranjith Govind is a celebrated playback singer who recently completed 20 remarkable years in the Indian music industry. Known for his versatile voice and magnetic stage presence, he has sung in multiple South Indian languages and built a reputation for adapting effortlessly across genres.

He has collaborated with top composers like Ilaiyaraaja, Yuvan Shankar Raja, Devi Sri Prasad, and Mani Sharma, and lent his voice to leading stars including Vijay, Ajith Kumar, and Jr. NTR.

His talent was officially recognized when he was awarded the Tamil Nadu State Award for Best Male Playback Singer in 2012 for the song Sollitaley Ava Kaadhala from the movie Kumki. With over 4000 hours of live performance experience, he continues to be a powerhouse on stage, known for his energy, finesse, and ability to captivate audiences around the world.

AALAAP RAJU:

Aalaap Raju is a popular artist in the South Indian music industry, known for his versatility as a singer, bass player and composer.

His career spans a wide range of genres, from classical to contemporary, jazz to fusion, and film music to indie tracks. Aalaap Raju first gained widespread recognition with his rendition of the song "Ennamo Yedho" from the 2011 film KO, composed by Harris Jayaraj.

This performance not only earned him the prestigious Filmfare Award for Best Playback Singer in 2012 but also won him 15 other awards in that calendar year, marking a significant milestone in his career.

Aalaap is not just a singer but also an accomplished bass player. His ability to blend different musical styles, from classical to jazz to fusion, has made him a sought-after musician. He has worked with some of the biggest names in the music industry, including Ilaiyaraaja, Harris Jayaraj, Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy, Devi Sri Prasad, Thaman, G.V. Prakash, D.Imman etc.

RAHUL NAMBIAR:

Rahul Nambiar is an established singer in the South-Indian Film Industry with close to 1000 songs to his credit. Winner of the FILMFARE for BEST PLAYBACK SINGER (Guruvaram from Dookudu in Telugu).

He has sung for famous music directors including the great Ilaiyaraja, Yuvan Shankar Raja, Thaman, Devi Sri Prasad, G V Prakash, Vidyasagar, Harris Jeyaraj, Manisarma, Hariharan-Leslie Lewis (Colonial Cousins), Arjun Janya, Harikrishna, and many more.

Rahul hails from Kerala, yet he is well versed in Hindi as he was brought up in Delhi. His ability to dabble with various styles of music, languages (Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, Hindi, English) and connect with varied audiences has made him popular among event organizers and TV show organizers.

• This show is performed in TAMIL language 
• BALCONY - General Admission is based on first come first serve basis.
• The show duration is 2 Hrs approximately.
• The Venue, Date and Time for MEET & GREET will be informed to the customers separately.
• All ticket sales are deemed as FINAL TRANSACTIONS. There will be no ticket refunds/returns/exchanges/cancellations.
• A service fee per ticket may be levied. Please check the total amount before payment.
• In case of an event being cancelled, TheTicketWorld.com will refund only the face value of the ticket and NOT the service fee.
• At the time of entering the event venue, you are required to produce the ticket and a valid identification document (ID). By presenting an ID, you confirm that all details present on it are accurate and updated.
• The Organizers/Hosts does not take any responsibility to personal/financial damages caused to you at the venue, or for any items lost/stolen/misplaced at the venue. Financial reimbursement claims on these counts will not be entertained.
• Please note that the tickets purchased from TheTicketWorld.com cannot be redeemed against cash, credits, or any other benefits.
• Please note that you purchase tickets on your own free will. As such, you do not have the right to initiate a chargeback claim or dispute on the provider of the credit card/debit card that had been used for the transaction. Further refund/return/cancellation requests will not be entertained either.
• By opting to purchase, allocate or possess tickets to the event, you automatically agree to TheTicketWorld.com terms of use and privacy policy.
• The Organizer/Host recommends that you arrive at-lease 30 minutes prior at the venue for a seamless entry.
• The Organizer/Host has the right to deny entry for customers who arrives 15 minutes after the start of the event. In such cases, NO REFUNDS will be issued.
• Pricing is subject to change without any prior notice.
• Due to Venue Restrictions, food and beverages are not allowed inside the auditorium. You may bring a bottle of water.
• In an event of misconduct by patron's, Organizer/Host reserves the right to eviction.
